Claims versus evidence
Burn Gummy Benefits: What Each Promised Support Means
Burn Gummy is sold as a daily gummy that supports fat metabolism, blood sugar in the normal range and steady energy.
The sales page talks about visible changes in 60 to 90 days alongside healthy habits. It is made with chromium, berberine and cinnamon.
To see how the three ingredients fit together, read how Burn Gummy works.

What is promised01
What benefits does the Burn Gummy sales page promise?
The sales page positions the gummy as a daily helper for fat metabolism, blood-sugar balance, cravings and energy. Its headline is “Clinically Studied. Cleanly Burned.” and it describes the product as “Thermogenic Fat-Burning Gummies”. (Burn Gummy sales page)
The label graphic is quieter. It lists amounts, a serving size and a direction to take one gummy a day. We quote the sales-page wording in quotation marks, because it is the seller's claim rather than a finding, and we keep our own language to what can be checked.
Eight lines02
How does each claim hold up?
Sales-page wording on the left, the evidence on the right.
- 01Chromium
Sales page says“supports insulin sensitivity, blood-sugar balance and reduces sweet cravings”
What the evidence saysGlucose trials used 200-1,000 mcg a day with mixed results and no change in healthy people; a gummy has 25 mcg. We found no craving trial. (NIH ODS, Chromium) (NCCIH, Diabetes and Dietary Supplements)
- 02Berberine
Sales page says“nature's metabolic molecule”
What the evidence saysTwo meta-analyses found small average weight drops (about 0.9 kg and 2 kg). The usual product dose is 250-500 mg two or three times a day; a gummy has 40 mg. (Elahi Vahed et al., Int J Obes 2026) (Asbaghi et al., Clin Nutr ESPEN 2020) (NIH LiverTox, Berberine)
- 03Cinnamon
Sales page says“studied for glucose response support”
What the evidence saysResults for glucose markers are mixed and larger trials are needed. We found no verified studied dose to compare with 28 mg. (MSKCC, Cinnamon) (NCCIH, Diabetes and Dietary Supplements)
- 04Fat
Sales page says“Helps support your body's natural fat-metabolism pathways”
What the evidence saysNo trial of the gummy is cited. Health claims need competent and reliable evidence, generally trials of the same product. (FTC, Health Products Compliance) (NIH ODS, Weight-loss supplements)
- 05Blood sugar
Sales page says“Helps maintain healthy blood-sugar already within normal range”
What the evidence saysNCCIH finds weak evidence for chromium, cinnamon and berberine; the ADA finds no supplement proven to support blood glucose management. (NCCIH, Diabetes and Dietary Supplements) (ADA, Vitamins & Supplements)
- 06Energy
Sales page says“Promotes steady all-day energy without the crash”
What the evidence saysThe label lists no stimulant and no energy ingredient. We found no evidence of an energy effect from these three at these amounts. (NIH ODS, Weight-loss supplements)
- 07Timeline
Sales page says“Most customers report noticeable shifts in energy and cravings in 7-14 days”
What the evidence saysNo source or sample size is given. Testimonials are not evidence of an effect. (FTC, Health Products Compliance) (FTC, Evaluating online reviews)
- 08Studies
Sales page says“Clinically Studied. Cleanly Burned.”
What the evidence saysThe studies are on single ingredients at other doses, not on this gummy. The label lists a synthetic sweetener and a certified dye. (FTC, Health Products Compliance) (NIH ODS, Weight-loss supplements) (eCFR, 21 CFR 74.340 (Red 40))
Eight sales-page lines, as worded there (Burn Gummy sales page). The evidence lines describe each ingredient alone, usually at amounts far above one gummy.
The standard03
What evidence would a health claim need?
US advertising rules ask for competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally randomized human trials on the same product, dose and population. Testimonials, animal studies and lab work do not meet the bar, and a disclaimer does not fix a misleading claim. (FTC, Health Products Compliance)
| Kind of evidence | Exists for Burn Gummy? | Weight it carries |
|---|---|---|
| Randomized trial of the gummy | None found | Strongest |
| Trials of the ingredients at studied doses | Yes, for chromium and berberine | Moderate, but the doses differ from the gummy |
| Customer testimonials | None verified here | Weak; not proof of an effect |
| A claim that the ingredient is traditional | Yes | Background only |
Weight04
Does Burn Gummy help you lose weight?
Possibly a very small amount, and not by any route we can credit to the gummy. A 2026 analysis of berberine trials found a pooled 0.88 kg weight drop, a 2020 analysis found 2.07 kg, and a Cochrane review of chromium picolinate found about 1.1 kg. The Cochrane authors called the effect of debatable clinical relevance. (Elahi Vahed et al., Int J Obes 2026) (Asbaghi et al., Clin Nutr ESPEN 2020) (NIH ODS, Weight-loss supplements)
Those trials used much more of the ingredient than one gummy holds. And a kilogram or two across a group is an average that hides people who lost nothing. Compare it with the gradual pace public-health agencies describe, about 1 to 2 pounds a week from food and activity. (CDC, Losing weight)
Blood sugar and energy05
Does it support blood sugar or energy?
NCCIH says only weak evidence exists for chromium, cinnamon and berberine on diabetes, and the American Diabetes Association says no supplement is proven to lower blood glucose or support diabetes management. (NCCIH, Diabetes and Dietary Supplements) (ADA, Vitamins & Supplements) A person with normal blood sugar has little to gain, because chromium does not appear to change glucose in healthy people. (NIH ODS, Chromium)
The “steady all-day energy without the crash” line has no ingredient behind it. The label lists no caffeine, no B vitamins and no stimulant. If you feel more energetic, other changes in your day are more likely to explain it than three ingredients at these amounts.
The brand's pictures06
What do the brand's own graphics add?
Four images from the image set, each captioned for what it is.
The vendor supplied several graphics. They repeat the label and the guarantee, and one shows a smiling woman with a gummy. None adds evidence, so we show them with honest captions.

A short method07
How can you judge any supplement claim yourself?
The FDA lists six warning signs of health fraud: one product that does it all, personal testimonials, quick fixes, all-natural cures, wonder-cure claims and conspiracy theories. (FDA, 6 Tip-offs to Rip-offs) A useful habit is to ask three questions of every claim.
- Who made the claim, and do they profit from it?
- Was the product itself tested, at the same dose?
- Would the result still be believable with the testimonial removed?
Apply them to our own statements too. Where we are unsure, we say so.

Where do these findings come from?
- Dietary Supplements for Weight Loss: Fact Sheet for Health Professionals. NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, 2026.A Cochrane review (2013) of 9 trials with 622 adults found chromium picolinate at 200-1,000 mcg/day for 8 weeks to 6 months cut body weight by 1.1 kg more than placebo; the authors called the effect of debatable clinical relevance and rated the evidence low quality. A second analysis (11 trials) found 0.5 kg. The sheet says little is known about whether weight-loss supplements work, that lifestyle change is the basis of long-term weight loss, that supplements need no FDA premarket approval, and that FDA does not permit pharmaceutical ingredients in them.
- Health Products Compliance Guidance. Federal Trade Commission, 2022.Health claims must be backed by competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally randomized controlled human trials on the same product, dose and population being advertised. Testimonials and animal or lab studies alone are not enough, and a disclaimer does not fix a misleading claim.

FAQ09
Burn Gummy benefits: questions
Does Burn Gummy really work?
No trial of Burn Gummy has been published that we could find. Ingredient research shows small weight effects at larger doses, so expect modest results at most.
What are the real benefits of Burn Gummy?
A sweet, simple daily habit and three ingredients with some research behind them. Weight, blood sugar and energy benefits are claims, not demonstrated results.
Is 'Clinically Studied' true for Burn Gummy?
The phrase appears on the sales page. The studies that exist concern single ingredients at other doses, not the gummy.
Is Burn Gummy a thermogenic fat burner?
The sales page uses the label. The ingredient list has no stimulant, so the word describes marketing more than chemistry.
Does Burn Gummy help with cravings?
We found no trial showing the three ingredients dampen cravings. The sales page says customers notice changes in 7 to 14 days, with no source.
Is the 60 to 90 day claim realistic?
It is vague: 'visible changes' alongside healthy habits cannot be separated from the habits. A 1 to 2 pound weekly pace is what public-health sources call gradual.
